First off, I am thoroughly impressed with myself for having 5 blog posts now!
Anywho, Breakfast, 6:15 am, cereal routine. Delicious as always. And by the way, I have to give my mother-in-law 100% credit in making up this concoction. She also eats this every morning, except with soy milk. She is also a health nut. Thanks, Meg! 336 calories according to thedailyplate.com
I've been slacking on my coffee drinking here lately....mostly because it is already so hot outside, and coffee makes me hotter, so I tend to avoid it in the summer time. But this morning is starting off a bit sluggish, so coffee it is. Half a pack of Splenda, and about a teaspoon of powdered creamer stuff....only 10 calories for the fake creamer. Well....make that 2 cups. 20 Calories here.
Grabbing the ipod so not to be tempted by the leftover cupcakes in the kitchen.
First song on the shuffle: White Sky by Vampire Weekend. Weird but catchy.
Second song (only mentioning because I LOVE this song): Heart of Steal by Galactic. I love playing this song in Spin, or just working out in general, and in my car. And while sitting at work. Just a great song. Pretty much the only good on one the album though, which is a bummer. But I found a free download link to this song!! Check it out....

11:50am - Time for lunch. I have the last serving of my spaghetti squash left-overs. This stuff is so good! I hate that I forget about it and only cook it once in a blue moon. And of course, my tall glass of water, which I actually keep full all day long. 320 Calories
Around 2:00 - I have my chocolate peanut butter protein bar, not too bad. 200 Calories. 20 grams of Protein. 0 sugar. 2 carbs.
3:15 - banana break. I wish I had time to spread these out more because I don't like eating so close to Spinning time at 4:30, but eat my banana any later than 3:30 and I'm burping bananas. Not fun! 100 Cals.
4:00 - Heading to the gym for my Spin class at 4:30, then going to TurboKick at 6:00.
Calories burned -1607....very hard day at the gym. Started my calorie counter at 4:30 and ran it until I was finished with Turbo at 7:00.
Came home and had a half glass of chocolate milk - 90
Had another salad. This time with lite raspberry vinaigrette instead of ranch, and a glass of red zin, but only drank half the glass. Calories came to 380
Feeling totally wiped out from today. Going to bed early at 9:00.
Tally for the Day:
Breakfast - 336
Coffee - 20
Lunch - 320
Banana - 100
Protein Bar - 200
Workout - 1607
Chocolate Milk - 90
Dinner - 380
Total Calories for day 3: -161 (probably why I feel bad. Probably should have eaten something else during the day. Noted.)

I must say, I'm quite impressed that you fix that concoction for breakfast every morning. I think that's more time consuming than my breakfast sandwich.
ReplyDeleteIt probably takes about 5 minutes to throw it all in a bowl. I just grab out all the cereals and flax seeds at once, don't measure anything, just eyeball it. Wash the strawberries and cut them up, which probably takes the most time, especially if all the knifes are dirty. Wash the blueberries, pour my milk, and ready to go! But it really is good and beats the heck out of hydrogenated fruits that come in cereal boxes.
